Position Title: Project Manager – Public Infrastructure

Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Salary Range: $135,000–$155,000 annually + Performance-Based Bonus

Overview

A leading infrastructure firm in the Bay Area is seeking a Project Manager with demonstrated experience in electrical construction and public works. This role offers the opportunity to lead essential capital improvement projects from inception through completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and field leadership.

This is a direct-hire position with a long-established construction company known for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for public infrastructure initiatives
• Oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and compliance
• Lead project teams and interface regularly with field personnel and stakeholders
• Maintain strong project documentation, cost control, and reporting
• Ensure safety standards and deadlines are consistently met

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large-scale construction projects
• Strong background in electrical or civil infrastructure
• Familiarity with union labor, productivity tracking, and project cost controls
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple project phases simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience with union environments and collective bargaining agreements
• Proven ability to collaborate across construction, engineering, and administrative teams
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
