IT Support Engineer III – Desktop & Hardware Support | Burlington, MA

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer III for a temporary onsite opportunity. This role supports key hardware and software operations, including end-user setup, troubleshooting, and systems deployment across a dynamic IT environment.

Location: Burlington, MA

Pay: $26 – $33 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Temporary (2–6 months)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard day shift

Work Model: Onsite

What You’ll Do:

• Provide desktop and laptop support, including deployment and configuration of hardware and software
• Install or perform minor repairs on equipment, cables, operating systems, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot supported desktop OS and applications using diagnostics and direct user interaction
• Maintain accurate logs of IT service activities including issues, solutions, and installations
• Assist with onboarding of new employees, ensuring proper tech setup and access
• Deliver training and guidance on software and hardware usage as needed
• Refer major technical issues to vendors or specialized technicians for resolution
• Recommend hardware and software solutions to enhance performance and compatibility
• Provide timely updates on tickets, open issues, and assigned projects

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5–8 years of related experience (or 2–4 years with an AA, or 0–2 years with a BA/BS)
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize workload with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with installation specifications and troubleshooting protocols
• Strong documentation and record-keeping habits
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
