Pay Range: $250,000 - $390,000 annually Based on experience (mid-level associate, 4–6 years)
Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and/or joint venture transactions, particularly in the healthcare industry. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys looking to work at the forefront of healthcare innovation and strategic transactions.
As part of a nationally recognized, multidisciplinary Healthcare Industry Team, you will be immersed in dynamic transactional work across a broad spectrum of healthcare clients—from hospitals and health plans to digital health innovators and institutional investors.
This position offers flexibility in office location and the ability to work in close collaboration with partners and associates nationwide. You will be mentored by experienced attorneys who are leaders in the healthcare and private equity space, with structured opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise healthcare clients on mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, and strategic transactions.
- Manage the corporate lifecycle for healthcare companies, including entity formation, operational strategy, and contract negotiation.
- Participate in client meetings, due diligence, drafting of deal documentation, and coordination of closings.
- Work closely with partners and associates in a team-based environment, with opportunities for direct client interaction.
- Contribute to legal research, regulatory analysis, and strategic advisement regarding healthcare laws and compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience with M&A, private equity, and/or joint venture transactions—healthcare industry focus strongly preferred.
- Strong oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects, communicate effectively with clients and external advisors, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of the desired office location.
