Eastridge Workforce Solutions is urgently hiring a customer service oriented, Warehouse Operations Specialist for a leading moving and storage company. The Operations Assistant works closely with the drivers on the submission of their paperwork and logs. This person is responsible to scan and properly task in our system all documents associated with the jobs. Job Duties:

• Main point of contact for deliveries, ensuring inventory is organized and correct information is recorded into inventory management system (Windfall)
• Receive, tag and scan inventory deliveries and check for accuracy
• Pull data from inventory management system and input into spreadsheets
• Handle all paperwork, use Day Sheets to organize daily inventory
• Handle and manage all inbound and outbound client calls and emails
• Notify client if a driver is late or unable to show at scheduled time
• Audits all incoming driver paperwork for accuracy, completeness and timely submission
• Alerts operations manager of all incomplete and/or substandard paperwork
• Audits all documents for the job including driver logs, bill of lading, accessorial charges, and inventories
• Scans into the system all driver paperwork and then accurately adds tasks for accounting to bill accounts and pay drivers
• Prepares and processes operations paperwork and support documentation ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assists with arranging third party services at origin/destination locations
• Provides customer information and date of required services, maintains third party logs and forwards to corporate accounting
• Calling customers when needed to advise start times
• Receives and processes storage paperwork
• Creates, maintains and updates files and logs for all new storage lots
• Performs other duties as assigned by other members of management

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years previous customer service experience preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse/commercial environment
• Prior experience in the logistics, moving and storage industry is a plus
• Be able to perform heavy clerical tasks
• Mid level knowledge/skills in MS Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
• Accurate, organized, detail oriented and dependable
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload while multitasking
