Java/MuleSoft Software Developer – Microservices & Integration | San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Java/MuleSoft Software Developer for a 6-month contract opportunity with a leading company in the consumer finance industry. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects in a technology-forward environment focused on data-driven solutions and modern cloud infrastructure.

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite/week in Mission Valley)

Pay: $60 – $65 per hour (W2 only; no C2C, no visa sponsorship)

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (6 months with potential to extend)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance
• Integrate systems using MuleSoft and contribute to event-driven architectures
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness across applications
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and solution architecture discussions

What We’re Looking For:

Required Skills:

• 3–7 years of Java development experience using Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and RDBMS
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and team collaboration
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with React.js or mobile app development (iOS/Android)
• Exposure to NoSQL databases and cloud-native solutions
• Background in MuleSoft or event-driven system design
