Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the 2nd or 3rd shift. This role is responsible for overseeing production lines, supervising personnel, ensuring adherence to FDA/GMP regulations, and meeting daily output targets while maintaining a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach production team leads to meet department goals
• Plan and coordinate material and labor flow across departments
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Work cross-functionally with QA, Planning, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams
• Resolve production, scheduling, and quality issues in real time
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and company safety standards
• Manage temporary labor and assign resources to meet production demands
• Maintain documentation, respond to deviations, and enforce company policies
• Support shift leadership and act as backup when required
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in OTC pharmaceutical production
• At least 3 years of direct supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations, cGMP, and GDP compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of filling processes, line productivity metrics, and quality systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and maintain a positive work culture
