Logistics & Customs Compliance Coordinator

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Rate: $25–$30/hr

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Customs Compliance Coordinator to support the daily logistics operations and regulatory compliance functions for one of our top partners in the electronic component manufacturing industry. This role is essential to ensuring efficient shipment tracking, customs adherence, and vendor collaboration to uphold operational and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics activities including shipment tracking, transportation coordination, and discrepancy resolution.
• Support customs compliance initiatives such as HTS classification, C-TPAT requirements, and documentation maintenance.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to address and resolve clearance issues efficiently.
• Review and process vendor invoices related to logistics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
• Monitor and address shipment incident reports, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain relationships with logistics vendors, conducting quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and monitoring performance through KPIs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or import/export compliance (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of customs procedures and HTS classification is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; assertive and self-driven.
• Adaptable to working in a diverse, fast-paced, and global team environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
