Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AOI and CMM programs tailored to specific measurement requirements for product acceptance.
• Create and maintain measurement work instructions for operators using specialized equipment.
• Drive technological advancements by identifying and integrating new metrology equipment and methodologies.
• Participate in professional training for programming and software packages to stay current with industry standards.
• Manage the MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) portion of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
• Collaborate with process teams and supervision to approve new CNC machines and conduct biannual capability studies.
• Validate process improvements as directed by Engineering and Process teams.

About You

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a metrology environment.
• Experience with measurement systems such as Nikon microscopes, Keyence, and Mitutoyo CMM/Optical Systems (vision pack software experience preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint interpretation.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (Creo/Pro-E preferred).
• Background in Minitab, Microsoft Office, 5S, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Competency in data structures and calibration lab management (ISO/IEC 17025, Z540).
