Our partner is currently seeking a dynamic Junior Accountant to join their team in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files, updating information as necessary.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation as requested.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
• Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
• Experience in Commercial Property Management; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
