Pay Range: $26.00 – $33.00 per hour

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a dependable and knowledgeable IT Support Engineer III (Temp) to support our growing IT infrastructure during a team transition. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for hands-on support, troubleshooting, and IT asset setup across two locations. This is an onsite role that requires regular travel between San Clemente and Aliso Viejo facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up hardware and software for new and existing employees, ensuring smooth installation of cables, systems, and configurations.
• Perform minor hardware/software repairs and maintenance as needed, in line with installation specifications.
• Provide user support through diagnostics, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Maintain accurate records of IT service activities including technical issues, resolutions, and system updates.
• Assist with employee onboarding processes by provisioning IT equipment and account access.
• Train users on hardware/software use and develop instructional materials as needed.
• Escalate significant technical problems to appropriate vendors or higher-level support teams.
• Support IT projects including system rollouts and asset upgrades.
• Recommend IT hardware and software solutions based on user and organizational needs.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders on ticket status, ongoing issues, and project timelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of IT support experience; candidates with an AA degree require 2–4 years of experience; entry-level candidates with a BS may be considered.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of desktop operating systems and standard office applications.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local office locations (mileage may be reimbursed).
