Now Hiring – HR Clerical Support Specialist

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time

A reputable organization known for handcrafted and specialty faucets, is seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual HR Clerical Support Specialist to join its Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling a wide range of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Clerical Support:

• Provide general clerical support to the HR department, including answering phones, filing, making copies for subpoenaed records, and preparing mailings
• Schedule appointments, organize meetings, and assist with internal event planning (e.g., open enrollment, employee recognition events, holiday gatherings)
• Translate documents as needed, and assist with preparing HR correspondence and reports
• Maintain office supply inventory and prepare purchase orders as needed

Recordkeeping and Filing:

• Maintain accurate physical and electronic HR files and documentation in the HRIS system
• Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance and document integrity
• Handle sensitive and confidential records with discretion and professionalism

Recruitment and Onboarding Support:

• Post job openings using the Applicant Tracking System and on internal platforms
• Prepare new hire documentation and create personnel files
• Support hiring and onboarding tasks in coordination with HR leadership

General HR Functions:

• Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by management
• Provide support in payroll processing (preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level or higher)
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll applications preferred
• Professional certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus
