Human Resources Coordinator – Generalist & Operations Support | Morton Grove, IL
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Coordinator for a full-time, first-shift opportunity. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain comprehensive experience across multiple HR functions—including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee engagement—within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Location: Morton Grove, IL
Pay: Up to $70,000 annually, depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with recruiting: post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and maintain candidate communication
- Coordinate onboarding tasks, including preparing offer letters and managing orientation documentation
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records within the HRIS
- Support the payroll process and ensure accuracy in timekeeping and data entry
- Help administer employee benefits (health plans, retirement, leave management)
- Organize employee engagement activities and support a positive workplace culture
- Prepare HR reports and internal communications, including policy updates and presentations
- Provide front-line support for HR-related employee inquiries
- Contribute to initiatives like performance management and learning and development
- Maintain HR files and assist with compliance and reporting obligations
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support with a strong focus on accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage competing deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Desire to grow within the HR profession
