Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Yard Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Chula Vista, CA. This is your chance to step into a leadership role and make an impact in a fast-paced, team-driven logistics environment.
Location: Chula Vista, CA
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00/hour
Shifts Available: Monday – Friday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily shift huddles, assign tasks, and ensure priorities are met
- Oversee and verify all outbound shipments for accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
- Track and report shipment details using internal systems
- Monitor team productivity, manage yard flow, and allocate space efficiently
- Support team development and recognize strong performance
- Ensure forklift and equipment upkeep in compliance with safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in yard, warehouse, or logistics leadership
- Familiarity with outbound shipping, customs paperwork, and inventory systems
- Knowledge of safety practices, labeling, and HAZMAT handling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipment tracking tools
- Forklift certification is a plus
