Job Summary

The Engineering Technician is responsible for maintaining the engineering lab to support development and characterization testing across multiple product lines. This role, part of the Automation group, will assist in test system maintenance, inventory coordination for laboratory supplies, and equipment calibration activities in a dynamic environment. The position also involves managing and procuring lab equipment and supplies for custom test system development, working from written and verbal instructions, and supporting diverse, complex projects requiring initiative and teamwork.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure laboratory readiness to support product development activities.
• Manage test equipment calibration, repair services, and schedules.
• Coordinate inventory and acquisition of laboratory supplies.
• Collect measurement data for products under development.
• Create and maintain an efficient and productive lab environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience or trade school training in a product development lab environment (RF preferred).
• Demonstrated test and measurement skills (RF preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing lab equipment and electronic components.
• Ability to follow instructions and process flows.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude to support ATE system construction.
• Commitment to company goals and values.
• A desire for continuous personal and professional development.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or NI LabVIEW is a plus.

Education Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ASEET preferred) or equivalent experience.
