Compensation: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour + 2nd Shift Differential

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Eastridge is proud to present a direct hire opportunity with a global, diversified manufacturer of ultra-complex aerospace engine components. This organization is recognized for its expertise across all major engine product categories and is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to join its high-performing team in Phoenix, AZ.
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multiple CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components. You will play a key role in supporting production goals and assisting other machinists under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC Lathe machines to produce high-precision components
- Assist other machinists with technical support and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with leads and support departments (Engineering, Quality, etc.) as needed
- Ensure accurate shift hand-off communication and documentation
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
- Maintain documentation such as blueprints, manufacturing orders (MOTs), and work instructions
- May be required to train or instruct other machinists
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and inspection techniques
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- High attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong math and measurement conversion skills for machine operation and inventory management
- Self-motivated with a focus on meeting productivity and quality standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues in collaboration with team members
